Estonia and Latvia

This is known as the Maiden Tower. It was built as a medieval defence tower along the old fortified walls of Tallin in the 1300s. More recently it was used as living quarters and artists studios until the 1960s. It has now been renovated and reopened as a museum with an exhibition hall in its cellar.
